We've had our final invoice from Bolsover Cruise Club and it's starting to make us focus on what we want to do on the cruise - an exciting thought to combat the post-Olympic blues?

Do's and Don'ts

Here are a few 'do's and don'ts' for those new to cruising or new to Royal Caribbean

Take electrical adaptors with you - each cabin has 2 x US sockets plus 1 x European socket. You can always take a lightweight gang socket so that you can plug all those phone, iPad and camera battery chargers in!

Don't

Take a travel iron with you - they will not let you use it in the cabin

Take try to take alcohol on board - they will impound it for the duration of the cruise and only return it to you when you leave the ship
