We have progress to report!
We have booked some cabins for some of the Atkins clan so the starting gun has been fired!
If you’re interested in being part of the party, you would need to book within the next 30 days. Existing cabin prices will be held during that time for those in the party. Each cabin has an onboard credit of $75.
The prices we originally quoted to you include flights. They are offering flights from Manchester or Leeds/Bradford for people in this region. We’ve booked from Leeds/Bradford. If you have the flight as part of the package, you will need to confirm which airport you would like to fly from. You can book a ‘cruise only’ for about £275 less than the all-in price we quoted to you and make your own flight arrangements, or you can add the flights later to your booking. Of course, as always, flights will be subject to availability as time goes by.
The prices still seem to be the same as originally quoted and we have booked near the forward Centrum area on Deck 9, in case you would like to be somewhere near us – or alternatively not!
The cruise is with Royal Caribbean International on ‘Adventure of the Seas’ leaving Malaga on Saturday 27 October for 7 days. It returns on the morning of Saturday 3 November.

Mention of course that you are joining the Atkins party cruise. You will be asked the following –

2. How you would like the main bed in the cabin to be configured – one double or two singles
3. Which dinner seating you would prefer. The first one is at around 6.45 pm and the later one is around 9.30 pm. Neither is ideal for us, but we’ve gone for the early one. I believe you can change it later, if you want to. We can be seated together on tables of up to 12 passengers
4. They will ask you about insurance. We always have our own. If you would like advice/suggestions about recommended insurers, please let me know
5. They will need a deposit of £150 per person and this can be paid on a credit or debit card. Individuals in the same cabin can pay their own deposits on separate cards. The final balance will be due on 24 August 2012
6. If you’ve used Bolsover Cruise Club before, they will have your details on file. If not they will need all the usual details when you are booking a holiday
She will read a script of terms and conditions to you which you will need to agree to before the booking is finally confirmed.
The group discount will be given to me when all final invoices have been paid and I will then apportion that on a share-per-person basis. I would like to do that by cheque or bank transfer and will contact those in the group at that time to agree on those arrangements individually.
